Car broken into at Birmingham residence

A Birmingham police officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Wimbleton Drive on Thursday, December 29, on report of suspicious circumstances.


A 30-year-old resident reported to the officer that someone had rummaged through her car overnight, but nothing appeared to have been stolen.


The car was unlocked at the time of the incident. Birmingham police report there are no witnesses currently, and they are investigating.
