Car stolen from Bates Street residence

An investigation is ongoing into another car theft in Birmingham, this time from a home on Bates Street.

On Monday, April 3, a 43-year-old resident reported his car was stolen at 7:30 a.m. from the street in front of his house. He told police he had both sets of keys to the car when it was taken, and there is no indication if the car was left unlocked at the time of the theft.

Birmingham police say there are currently no witnesses or suspects.
