Coffee thrown at driver in road rage incident

After watching someone run a stop sign, a driver from Bloomfield Hills had coffee thrown through his car window on Sunday, October 1, while driving near N. Old Woodward and Oak Street in Birmingham.

The victim reported to police that the suspect ran through a stop sign and pulled out in front of him. When the victim let the other driver know that the suspect had cut him off, the driver threw the coffee at him, seemingly in revenge.

Birmingham police reported an investigation is ongoing, putting out the alert that the driver was in a black SUV.
