Damage reported at Birmingham cemetery

A large hole in the metal fence of Clover Hill Park Cemetery, located at 2425 E. 14 Mile Road, was reported on the morning of Sunday, January 7, to Birmingham police.

Reports indicate that employees of the cemetery saw a large piece of the fence cut, which Birmingham police confirmed. Police also reported seeing footprints leading into the cemetery. No other information was provided.

Birmingham police report an investigation is ongoing.
