Damaged property reported at city work site

A Birmingham business on the 2000 block of Cole Street had someone trespass on to its work site and then drove one of the vehicles of the business throughout the property on the night of Monday, May 27.

The business owner reported the incident to police about three days later, on the morning of Thursday, May 30, saying multiple items, including the vehicle, were damaged as a result.

Birmingham police said they are investigating the incident.
