Designer glasses worth over $800 nabbed in theft

Two women stole Gucci and Prada eyeglasses from the Bloomfield Township Lenscrafters around 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 10, and police are looking for the pair.


Management at Lenscrafters, 2125 S. Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township, reported to police that two black females in their 30s came into the eyewear store and stole a pair of Gucci eyeglasses, valued at $535, and a pair of Prada eyeglasses valued at $300.


The two females were seen fleeing the area in a Ford Escape.


The case is currently being investigated by the Bloomfield Township Police Investigations Unit. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
