Jacket stolen from Power House Gym

An unattended men’s jacket was stolen on Saturday, January 16, from the Power House Gym, 400 E. Brown, Birmingham police said.

Police said a Bloomfield Hills man was at the gym to exercise about 8 a.m. when he left his jacket open on a coat rack in the common area of the men’s locker room. When he returned about 9:30 a.m., the jacket was missing. The jacket was valued at $300.

Employees searched the gym and were unable to locate the missing jacket. A follow-up with management the following day didn’t yield the jacket.

Police are investigating the incident.
