Jewelry stolen in township home invasion

Thieves broke a door jam and stole jewelry from a Bloomfield Township home in the 2000 block of Mulberry Square, Bloomfield Township police reported.


Around 9:30 p.m. the evening of Wednesday, April 5, officers arrived after homeowners discovered their home had been broken into. Upon arriving, police discovered signed of forced entry into the home, including a broken door jam and pry marks near the deadbolt on the door.


The homeowners discovered jewelry was missing, and that multiple bedrooms had been gone through.

Bloomfield Township police report they are investigating the case.


Police are asking those who have any information about the case to call 248.433.7755.
