Large charge at Nordstrom's after wallet theft

After a wallet was stolen at the Maple Theater in Bloomfield Township on July 29, over $12,000 in charges were racked up on the victim's Nordstrom's credit card.

Bloomfield Township police report a wallet was stolen out of a purse while the victim was at the Maple Theater, 4135 W. Maple Road, in Bloomfield Township. A Nordstrom credit card was in the wallet and and was used less than two hours later to make multiple fraudulent transactions totaling over $12,000 at the Somerset Collection Nordstrom store located at 2850 W. Big Beaver Road in Troy.

Bloomfield Township police are asking the public to contact them if they recognize the individual in the photo, and contact Sgt. Sparks at 248.433.7762 or asparks@bloomfieldtwp.org.
