Liquor thief hits Birmingham Rite Aid

Birmingham police are investigating the theft of liquor from a Birmingham Rite Aid store that occurred on the morning of Monday, February 7, in the 600 block of S. Adams Road.


Officers responded for a retail theft at the store, where a witness said a white male concealed bottles of alcohol in a black trench coat and left the store without paying. Police said the man left in a dark-colored vehicle.


The loss was estimated at $47.


Birmingham police are investigating.
