Package stolen from elderly resident's porch

An 80-year-old Birmingham resident reported a package had been taken from her porch on Monday, May 23.


A Birmingham police officer was dispatched to the home in the 2300 block of Northlawn Boulevard for a larceny report. The resident, an 80-year-old woman, reported she had received a package delivery confirmation on Sunday, May 22, at 3:44 p.m. When she checked her porch the next morning, the package was missing. She told the officer the value of the package is approximately $11.


Birmingham police report there are no witnesses or suspects at this time.
