Seaholm High School construction workers fight

Witnesses reported a fight between construction employees working on the grounds of Seaholm High School in Birmingham, with one victim receiving minor injuries and damages to personal items totaling about $600 on Tuesday, August 2.


At approximately 3 p.m., officers were dispatched to the school at 2500 W. Lincoln Street, on reports of disorderly conduct. Witnesses at the scene reported that a physical altercation took place between several construction employees doing work on the school's grounds, and two of the workers had left the scene. A victim reported minor injuries to police, and said he had damaged personal items totaling approximately $600. He said he wanted to press charges against the agitators.


Birmingham police attempted to make contact with the other individuals involved. An investigation is ongoing.
