Regardless of what happens with Dorothy Conrad (assuming her lease will be renewed), there's still the matter of landlords being able to evict without just cause, the particular vulnerability of seniors on short-term leases, and the question of whether Birmingham shouldn't consider a "Right to Renew" law like Ann Arbor just adopted.
