TCH's Our Town will be virtual again this year
By Lisa Brody
The Community House in Birmingham believes in supporting local artists. It's such a part of its long-standing mission that officials there are converting their signature show, Our Town, into a virtual art show, to be held online Thursday, April 22 through Thursday, May 6.
This year, the 36th Our Town Annual Art Show and Sale will allow art enthusiasts the opportunity to appreciate the skills and the talents of the region’s many brilliant artists and to purchase a work of art themselves.
The 36th annual juried art show includes over 200 works of art ranging from paintings, pastels, sculptures, photography, fiber works, jewelry, and mixed media, all created by talented Michigan artists. Sixty-five percent of the proceeds from the art sales will go directly to the region’s artists.
The show goes live on April 22; art enthusiasts may view and purchase art by going to: communityhouse.com/event/our-town-art-show-sale.
