Troy woman assaulted at 220 Merrill

A woman from Troy was allegedly assaulted by her ex-boyfriend’s new partner on Tuesday, October 10, at 220 E. Merrill Street in Birmingham while she was ordering a drink from the bar.

Multiple witnesses were able to confirm that the suspect walked up behind the victim, pulled her hair and then proceeded to leave the business.

According to Birmingham police, an investigation is ongoing.
