Vehicle stolen off Bates Street

A vehicle was stolen from a Birmingham resident in the 1300 block of S. Bates sometime overnight on Wednesday, May 26, police said.

Birmingham police said the victim parked the vehicle in his driveway about 10:30 p.m. the previous night and it was missing when he went outside that next morning.

Police said it’s possible a spare key was left inside the vehicle.

Police didn’t release the make or model of the vehicle. The case is under investigation.
