Wallet taken from car on E. Maple

While a man was shopping, his car was being broken into as it was parked on the 600 block of E. Maple Rd. in Birmingham.

According to reports, the victim went into a store around 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, but had left his car unlocked. While he was inside, several items were taken from the car, including a wallet with credit cards inside. The man said the cards hadn’t been used and were not canceled.

Birmingham police are investigating the theft but state there aren’t any suspects currently.
