Woman steals clothes from Costco

A woman was seen filling a shopping cart with clothing at Costco and then filling a tote bag with them and leaving the store without paying for them on Tuesday, February 16.


A store employee reported to Bloomfield Township police that a woman entered the Costco warehouse store at 2343 Telegraph Road, carrying a large black and white tote bag. She was then seen loading up a shopping cart with merchandise and filling the tote bag with articles of clothing.


The woman then discarded the shopping cart, and left Costco without paying for the merchandise concealed in the tote bag.


The suspect is described as a white female, between the ages of 20 and 30, five-feet, four-inches tall with strawberry blond hair.


Bloomfield Township police report the case is currently under investigation.
