Bloomfield Township police are asking for the public's help in a theft from a porch that occurred in late January in the 3000 block of Pebble Lane. Police said the victim was notified a package she ordered from Amazon was delivered to her home. However, when she returned home the undisclosed package was missing from her porch. A case of vandalism on Sunday, February 24, involving an unidentified vehicle in the 400 block of Eton is being investigated by officers, Birmingham police said. Officers responded about 6 p.m. to the report of a damaged vehicle in the area. Police said the victim's vehicle had scratch marks on the driver's side and passenger side mirrors, in addition to scratches and a dent on the passenger doors. The incident is under investigation.
Bloomfield Township police are investigating the theft of a pair of designer purses that were discovered missing in January from a home in the 6000 block of Maple Hills Drive. Police responded about 6:20 p.m. on January 19 to the report of a theft at a private residence. The victim told police two designer purses were missing from her closet. A Pontiac woman arrested in connection with an attempted shoplifting incident at a Bloomfield Township department store is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, March 6. Theft of several bottles of liquor on Friday, February 22, was stopped when a man attempted to steal the alcohol left the bottles behind after being followed by employees from a Birmingham grocery store in the 2100 block of East Maple, police said.
