City, Watershed Council to clean up Clinton

The City of Rochester and the Clinton River Watershed Council on Saturday, September 30, will host a volunteer cleanup event at Rochester Municipal Park to improve the health of the river. The Clinton River Watershed Council's Annual Clinton Cleanup will be held from 9 - 11 a.m. The event rallies volunteers, businesses and local governments and organizations from around the Clinton River, the watershed and Lake St. Clair. The city will be hosting trash clean-ups along the Riverwalk and Clinton River Trail. Those participating will meet at the Diversion Street parking lot. T-shirts, gloves and trash bags will be distributed. Lunch will be provided following the cleanup.
