Rochester Hills woman arrested at Kohl’s

A Rochester Hills woman was arrested on Monday, September 25, in connection with a shoplifting incident at a Rochester Hills department store, authorities said.

Oakland County sheriff's deputies responding about 12:30 p.m. to the report of a retail fraud incident at Kohl's, 223 E. Auburn, in Rochester Hills, arrived to speak with store security who had detained an 18-year-old woman. Security said the woman entered the store and placed several items of clothing and makeup in her purse before trying to leave the store without paying for the merchandise.

The woman was stopped by security in the lobby of the store.

The woman was arrested and fingerprinted, then cited for retail fraud and released pending an arrest warrant.
