The Rochester Downtown Development Authority (DDA) on Saturday, October 21, will host Trick-or-Treat Downtown, a costume parade, spaghetti dinner and Halloween edition of Movies in the Moonlight.

The event, which begins at 3:30 p.m.., encourages kids to dress up and trick-or-treat downtown businesses until 5 p.m.

More than 50 businesses will participate in the trick-or-treating event, and will be marked with window signage.

Following the trick-or-treating, kids can meet at 5:15 p..m. for a costume parade at the public parking lot at Water Street and University, where a police car and fire truck will lead the procession south along Water Street to end at the Rochester Fire Departement.

Tickets are on sale at the door and cost $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger.

The Halloween edition of Moves in the Moonlight will feature The Lego Batman Movie, which will begin at dusk (about 6:30 p.m.) at the parking lot at the corner of E.
