Construction equipment stolen from job site

An industrial piece of construction equipment worth several thousand dollars was stolen sometime between Wednesday, October 25, and Tuesday, October 31, from a job site at Grandview and Millbrook Court in Rochester Hills, authorities said.

A representative for the victim, Cipparrone Construction of Southfield, told sheriff's deputies that a 60-inch ditch bucket that attaches to a backhoe, was left at the site on October 25. Crews noticed the bucket missing the following Tuesday.

The bucket attachment was valued at $6,500.
