Resort style day spa

The Woodhouse Day Spa, 364 N. Adams, at the Village of Rochester Hills, is scheduled to open in mid- to late-February, bringing the second Woodhouse location to Michigan. First launched in 2001, the new location will be the 56th franchise in the country, said Rochester Hills Woodhouse Day Spa owner Anju Brodbine. “It’s a perfect community for what we were looking for, in both space and community demographics,” she said. “There’s no other spa like ours. I thought it was a very good fit for us. There’s a lot of enthusiasm, and a lot of people are already calling to ask when we will open.” Unlike many salon-based spas, Brodbine said Woodhouse Day Spa recreates a resort style day spa, greeting clients with a signature scent upon arrival and creating an amazing experience until they leave. That experience includes quiet rooms, herbal tea or infused spa water, heated neck wraps and a choice of over 70 rejuvenating spa treatments. The spa offers guests a variety of advanced body and skincare treatments, including Swedish, deep tissue and 80-minute volcanic hot stone massage, as well as facials, manicures and pedicures. The Woodhouse Day Spa also features organic products, with seaweed cultivated from off the coast of Ireland and other natural items. “Ours is a high-end, luxury spa,” Brodbine said. “It’s all about the experience.”
