FIGO comes to Rochester
Stylists Rino and Kristina Marra have expanded their family-owned business with the opening of a new FIGO Salon, 130 E. Fourth Street, in Rochester. The salon, located in a completely renovated space previously occupied by Hair Unlimited, is the second offering from Marra, with the first FIGO located in downtown Birmingham. “After our extensive research, we are excited to find a FIGO home in Rochester because the community is a perfect fit for our business philosophy,” said co-owner Rino Marra. “The business bond in Rochester is demonstrated by the cooperation and love between the merchants. This is the type of business community we strive to participate,” co-owner Kristina Marra said. Since opening in Birmingham, Figo has participated in local charities, events and partnerships. Supporting The Pink Fund, being the exclusive hair salon for the Detroit Lions Cheerleaders and DIA’s Fash Bash are a few of the couple’s involvements. Figo anticipates continuing those types of contributions in Rochester and surrounding neighborhoods, Marra said.
