Coat stolen from gym locker room

A member of a Rochester Hills gym on Tuesday, February 20, had a jacket and keys stolen from an unattended coat rack inside a locker room, authorities said.

A Rochester Hills woman told a deputy with the Oakland County Sheriff's Office she was at LifeTime Fitness, 200 W. Avon Road, between 6:50 and 7:50 p.m. on Tuesday and had left her jacket on a coat rack inside the women's locker room. The woman returned to find the coat missing.

The Michael Kors brand jacket was valued at $200. The victim also had left her car keys inside the jacket.

Investigators are working with staff to obtain video footage taken outside of the locker room that may provide evidence in the theft.

The case is under investigation.
