Paint Creek Bridge Walk set for Labor Day

The Paint Creek Trail Council's 13th Annual Labor Day Bridge Walk will be held on Monday, September 3, at 9 a.m. along the Paint Creek Trail in Rochester and Rochester Hills.

The annual walk includes two different routes, one totaling two miles and another 10k walk/run. The event is free to attend, but a donation of $5 per family is suggested, with donations going toward trail improvements. Participants will meet at the Kiwanis Pavilion near the children's playground on the southeast side of Rochester Municipal Park. Participants will start at the pavilion and walk about 100 feet to the Paint Creek Trail.

Onsite registration starts at 8 a.m. the day of the event, with the event typically wrapping up by 11:30 a.m. Pre-registration is available online at http://paintcreektrail.org/wordpress/2018-labor-day-bridge-walk-run-registration/.

Donuts, face painting and a $500 Rochester Bike Shop gift card drawing will be available for participants. All ages and abilities are welcome to participate.
