Girl Scout Cookie Gala

Eight of Metro Detroit’s finest chefs competed in the Annual Cookie Gala, an elaborate bake-off at the MGM, Detroit. The Gala, organized by the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan, supports leadership development programs and activities for girls. Gala attendees sampled and voted on cookie creations while sipping signature Cookie Cocktails and bidding on silent and live auction items. The winning cookie concoctions were: Girl Scout’s Choice – For the Love of Sugar; Judge’s Choice – Big Rock Chophouse; CEO’s Choice – Fifty-One O One, Henry Ford College; and People’s Choice –Holiday Market. The event grossed over $174,000.
