Sunset at the Zoo

Shannon and Terry Harvill chaired the annual Detroit Zoological Society (DZS) Sunset at the Zoo. More than 2,200 guests attended the event and approximately 400 attended the VIP Party. Guests were treated to a strolling supper from 45 of the area’s finest restaurants, zoo-themed specialty drinks, live music, dancing under the stars, live and silent auctions, and access to many of the Detroit Zoo’s award-winning animal habitats as the sun went down. This year’s event netted over $575,000 to support the completion of the renovated and expanded Devereaux Tiger Forest.
