COTS (Coalition on Temporary Shelter) Soup City

This year’s SOUP City was held at the Gem Theatre and themed “The Roaring Twenties Edition.” Those attending were encouraged to dress in 1920s attire. The event offered music, art and soup galore from more than 30 metro Detroit restaurants. Guests also enjoyed the smooth sounds of Alexander Zonjic and Friends in the Jazz Café and danced to a host of other musicians and entertainers throughout the venue. The evening raised $150,000 for COTS – creating opportunities for families to collaborate, thrive, and succeed in building strong and stable households, neighborhoods, and communities.
