Linnie Taylor, a Southfield resident, was appointed to the Oakland County Commisison in December of 2023. A former member of the Southfieldd City Council, Taylor holds a masters degree in Human Resources Management from Central Michigan University.

I am in favor of “Point of Sale” inspections. However, I would rather we have regularly scheduled septic tank inspection every other year or whatever would make sense.

I am in favor of asking for a tax to support museums because it is very important to preserve our history and cultures and a great form of education.

Yes, I accepted 2020 election results and yes, I will accept the 2024 election results.

Key issues

Key issues facing Oakland County are: road repair, clean water, infrastructure maintenance, housing, health (mental and physical) concerns. As a commissioner I will help establish policies, create and pass ordinances and resolutions that fairly govern these areas of concern, review and approve the budget appropriately allocating funds for operations and services.
