Wow! I loved Lisa Brody's (August) article in Downtown, “Critical Race Theory: Political Battle Shifts to Education. “


I really hope that Birmingham parents who have been speaking against CRT at our board meetings read this article and learn something. I am so impressed that this was published in a Birmingham publication and so relieved.


The past year has made me reconsider whether Birmingham is the right fit for our family. My husband and I want our kids to learn truth and have challenging discussions on both past and current events. However, I have felt like we are surrounded by truth and science deniers for so long now.


Thank you for having the courage to write the truth and facts around CRT.
