Popular fast-casual restaurant chain Culver’s is set to open its first Bloomfield Township location this fall. The 4,060-square-foot restaurant will be built at the northwest corner of the Lowe’s parking lot at 1801 S. Telegraph Road. The location is owned by franchisee Joe Zimmer, who also operates two other Culver’s restaurants in Lake Orion and Orion Township. The new restaurant will feature a drive-thru and outdoor patio seating. Known for its signature ButterBurgers, Culver’s menu also includes chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, fish, salads, soups, onion rings, French fries, cheese curds, and corn dogs. For dessert, guests can choose from the chain’s frozen custard offerings, available in dishes and cones or malts, and shakes. Founded by the Culver family in 1984, the Wisconsin-based chain began franchising in 1988 and has grown to include 16 locations throughout Oakland County. The Bloomfield Township restaurant will be the first Culver’s in the community.
