National retailer coming

Framebridge, a custom framing retailer known for combining online ordering with in-store design services, is expanding into downtown Birmingham with a new location at 223 S. Old Woodward Avenue. The store will occupy the former home of Untied on Woodward, bringing another national retail brand to Birmingham’s Shopping District. The Birmingham location will offer customers professional framing services for artwork, photographs, diplomas, memorabilia and other keepsakes. Susan Tynan, Founder & CEO of Framebridge said she started the company “to make high-quality custom framing easy, beautiful, and affordable so people could frame more often.” Framebridge has built its reputation on simplifying the custom framing process by allowing customers to work with design experts in person or online while offering a wide selection of frame styles and matting options. The retailer operates 43 brick-and-mortar storefronts in major markets across the United States in addition to its e-commerce platform. An opening date and additional details for the Birmingham location have not yet been announced.
