Fashion label rag & bone long represented in Michigan by retailers such as Saks and Neiman Marcus has opened its first standalone Michigan store in downtown Birmingham at 110 S. Old Woodward Avenue. Founded in New York in 2002 by Marcus Wainwright and Nathan Bogle, rag & bone is a premium fashion brand known for combining British heritage with modern, New York-inspired, urban design. The brand specializes in high-quality denim, apparel, footwear, and accessories for men and women, focusing on wearable, expertly crafted clothing and clean silhouettes. In 2024, the brand was acquired by Guess? and WHP Global. “We’re proud to announce the opening of our newest rag & bone location in downtown Birmingham, MI,” said Jessica Pereira, Northeast District Manager for rag & bone. “Housed in a beautifully restored 120-year-old building, this space brings together heritage and modern design in a way that feels uniquely our own. With its rich red brick, architectural character, and distinctive layout, the store offers an immersive experience—featuring an expansive first floor dedicated to our women’s collection and a men’s mezzanine overlooking the space. More importantly, this opening marks the introduction of an incredibly strong team. Their energy, passion, and commitment to the brand set the tone for what this location will become.”
