School board candidates have no opposition

General election voters in the Bloomfield Hills Schools and the Birmingham Schools districts will be facing a ballot in which school board candidates have no opposition this November.
In the Bloomfield Hills Schools district only four candidates filed by the July 21 deadline for four seats open on the board. Candidates for the four-year terms include incumbents Paul Kolin of West Bloomfield and Tareq Falah of Bloomfield Hills, along with Brynn Stevenson and Ryan Walker, both of Bloomfield Hills.
Not filing for reelection were incumbents Carolyn Noble and Meagan Hill.
In the Birmingham Schools district three seats are appearing on the ballot, two for six-year terms and one for a four-year term.
Filing for the six-year terms were Birmingham residents Keely Crimando and Omar Odeh, who was appointed in late January of this year to fill a board vacancy. Filing for the four-year term was Southfield resident Toni Bassett.
Not filing for reelection in the Birmingham district were incumbents Lori Ajlouny and Luke Joseph.
