Traditional journalism

I read David Hohendorf's column and Oakland Confidential each month. I also look forward to the Voter Guide and endorsements as well.

I, too, agree that the opinion and editorial sections of our local newspapers should not be abandoned. We are in such a precarious position in this country and the loss of good local news is disturbing. We need good investigative reporting regarding our local government, as well as state and national. It is amazing that your monthly publication can provide us with so much information.

Please continue this “traditional” reporting. I would gladly pay a subscription fee to keep this going.
