Lost and Found Vintage, a longtime destination for vintage fashion enthusiasts, is relocating from Royal Oak to Birmingham after 24 years in business. Founded and owned by Tommy Dorr, the shop has built a reputation as a leading authority on vintage clothing in Southeast Michigan. Its collection spans men’s and women’s apparel, jewelry, and accessories dating from the early 1900s through the 1990s. The new location at 574 N. Old Woodward Avenue — formerly home to My House of Style—marks a shift to a more curated retail experience. At approximately one-quarter the size of the original three-story Royal Oak store, the Birmingham space will feature a carefully edited selection of inventory. The focus will be on top-selling categories, including vintage T-shirts, Levi’s and other denim, Carhartt, and designer apparel for both men and women. In addition to these popular items, the store will continue to showcase classic vintage pieces from the 1940s through the 1970s. Lost and Found Vintage will also source clothing directly from the community and does not operate on a consignment basis. Details regarding purchasing days and submission guidelines will be announced soon on the company’s website — lostandfoundvintage.com. A grand opening is scheduled for May 1.
