Bloomfield Township police responded to the 500 block of N. Fox Hills Drive after they were called on the afternoon of Sunday, August 16, regarding two stolen bicycles.
The bikes, a blue woman’s Cannondale 500 mountain bike and a maroon colored men’s Diamondback Hybrid bike, were last seen secured to the building and covered with a tarp on Thursday, August 13.

Bloomfield Township trustees unanimously approved a recommendation to award a 2020 safety path repair program contract to JB Contractors on Monday, August 10, for repair and maintenance of the township's safety paths, bridges and retaining walls.

Pernoi, briefly a high-end Asian-fusion restaurant at 310 E. Maple Road in Birmingham, received unanimous approval from the Birmingham City Commission on Monday, August 10, to change its name to Casa Pernoi, and to offer Italian cuisine.

Birmingham police are investigating a fatal hit and run crash that occurred on Woodward Avenue at Forest in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 8.
