10-year-old caught stealing from Target store

The Bloomfield Township Police Department responded on Monday, January 26, to a retail fraud in progress at the Target store located at 2400 S. Telegraph Road


Target loss prevention reported a young juvenile concealing multiple items in the store. The juvenile went through the self-check-out and paid for two items but had multiple other items., the police report said. It was determined that the juvenile, 10-years-old, concealed and stole multiple fragrance items and a phone case totaling $174.69.


The juvenile was identified and released to his parents. The case was referred to the Youth Assistance program.
