$11,000 worth of goods stolen from Ulta

After reviewing surveillance tapes, the store manager at the Bloomfield Township Ulta discovered a woman had stolen at least 127 items totaling more than $11,000.

On Monday, March 3, Bloomfield Township police were called to Ulta Beauty, 2161 Telegraph Road, after the store manager finished reviewing surveillance tapes from over the weekend. She informed officers that on Friday, March 1, around 7:45 p.m., she observed on the tapes a middle aged, Middle Eastern woman removing several items from the shelves of the store and placing them into a pouch on the front of her skirt.

The woman then left the store without paying for any of the items.

The manager said she was able to determine that at least 127 total items had been stolen, totaling over $11,000.

The case is currently being investigated by the Bloomfield Township Investigations Unit, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
