$2,500 in lotion stolen from township CVS

Almost $2,500 in cosmetic lotions were stolen from the CVS at 42934 Woodward Avenue in Bloomfield Township during the afternoon on Saturday, August 12.

Two women were seen on security surveillance with 65 assorted cosmetic items worth $2,500 being placed into a black bag, then exiting the store with the items, with the two women eventually walking away and out of camera view.

Employees at CVS discovered the larceny several hours after the suspects had left.

On Monday, August 14, a report was made by Bloomfield Township police, who also reviewed the video surveillance after receiving a call from CVS about the stolen items.

The Bloomfield Township Police Investigations Unit has been assigned the case, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
