$2,500 worth of goods stolen in retail shoplifting

Two females and a male grabbed merchandise and left a store without paying in the 100 block of South Old Woodward in downtown Birmingham on Monday, July 15.


The manager reported to police that 27 items were taken and later the Birmingham Police Department confirmed the suspects were returning the stolen goods to a store in Ann Arbor.


Police said an investigation is ongoing.
