$200 in liquor stolen from Birmingham Kroger

Almost $200 worth of alcohol was stolen from Birmingham’s Kroger store, located on the 600 block of East Maple, on Monday, June 3, when the suspect fled after being approached by an employee.

The Kroger employee told Birmingham police that they saw the man walking around the store and looking suspicious. When they tried to confront him, he fled with the alcohol.

Police were later able to identify the man as a 38-year-old from Detroit.
