Boyfriend hits woman with billiard ball

A Bloomfield Township woman called 911 on Saturday, November 4, to report her boyfriend was assaulting her, and police discovered he threw a billiard ball at her and pushed her into shelves. At approximately 1:08 a.m. Saturday, November 8, police were called to the 600 block of Windsor Run, regarding a domestic assault. When they arrived, the woman told them that during an argument, her boyfriend threw a billiard ball at her and pushed her against some shelves. The ball hit her on her back, which caused an injury. Police determined that the boyfriend, Brian Rossiter, 42, of Bloomfield Township, was intoxicated, and he was arrested him for domestic assault and was lodged at the township police station until he was sober. The Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office issued a one count warrant for domestic assault. He was video arraigned through the 52-3 District Court and issued a $3,000 personal bond. Rossiter’s next court date is Thursday, November 16, at 9 a.m at 48th District Court.
