Unsatisfied patient assaults doctor

A patient who wasn’t pleased with a procedure at the Bloomfield Laser & Cosmetic Surgery Center in Bloomfield Township first complained to the doctor about it, and then assaulted the doctor and a staff member.

Around 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, a patient who was dissatisfied with the results of a procedure at Bloomfield Laser & Cosmetic Surgery Center, located at 43494 Woodward Avenue, complained to the doctor. According to Bloomfield Township police, the female patient became irate about the handling of the complaint, and subsequently assaulted the doctor as well as a staff member.

The staff at the surgery center called 911, and officers responded to the scene. The suspect, Sharice Meredith-Sallee, 27, of Sterling Heights, initially refused to be handcuffed, but was arrested and taken to the Bloomfield Township police station, where she was charged with assault and battery and resisting and obstructing an officer. She was released on a personal bond and issued a court date of Wednesday, December 6, at 8:30 a.m at 48th District Court.
