Men fill backpacks with goods at Walgreens

Two men filled their backpacks with items from Walgreens in Birmingham on Thursday, February 15, and left without paying for anything.

Employees at the Walgreens at 34300 Woodward Avenue told Birmingham police officers that two men filled backpacks with headphones, liquor, earbuds, deodorant and other items in the store, and then left without paying for anything.

Officers located the two suspects at a bus stop at the corner of Woodward and Lincoln. They approached the men, ages 46 and 47, both of Detroit, and were able to recover all of the stolen items.

The two men were arrested for retail fraud.
