Break-in by former worker at car wash

A former employee of a Bloomfield Township car wash at Long Lake and Telegraph broke into the business during the overnight hours of Thursday, April 5.

The owners of Bloomfield Auto Wash, 4025 Telegraph Road, reported to police that their car wash was broken into. The suspect shattered the front door and entered the building.

The suspect, a former employee who had recently been fired for suspicion of stealing cash, was arrested in connection with several auto wash break-ins, and made a full confession to police.

Bloomfield Township police reported his case will be presented to the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office.
