Break-in at Bloomfield Hills home

Around 11 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, a Bloomfield Hills resident returned home to discover their home had been broken into.

The resident, who lives in the 600 block of Lone Pine Hill, first became concerned when he returned home and noticed damage to a door, and immediately called 911. No one had been home at the time of the break in. Bloomfield Hills public safety officers responded to the scene, and completed a thorough search. They report that several items of interest were collected as evidence and are being processed by the crime lab.

Bloomfield Hills Public Safety officers are continuing to investigate.
