Stolen Ford van located in Detroit

A Ford Econoline work van that was reported on Thursday, April 19, to have been stolen from a business in Bloomfield Hills was located through GPS technology in Detroit.

Bloomfield Hills public safety officers took a report of a stolen white Ford Econoline work van that had been stolen from the 39000 block of Woodward Avenue. GPS technology was able to be utilized, and the van, valued at approximately $30,000, was located in the city of Detroit.

Police were able to recover the vehicle, which had damage to the driver's side door lock and ignition.
